HealthSCOPE Benefits is a large supporter of the Arkansas Food Bank. Over recent years we have participated in several food drives. We raised 661 pounds of peanut butter and with our Canstruction, we collected over 2500 cans of tuna among other food items. Most recently, HealthSCOPE Benefits participated in the Soup and Bean drive to benefit the Arkansas Food Bank. In addition, HealthSCOPE collects for the Cereal drive each year to provide breakfast for needy children during the summer.

HealthSCOPE Benefits is a supporter of the Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute (CARTI), through its annual Tux 'n Trees and Festival After Dark. In August 2011, CARTI announced it was joining forces with Little Rock Hematology and Oncology (LRHO), now a division of CARTI, providing Central Arkansas with a comprehensive cancer care network that is second to none. The not-for-profit multi-specialty cancer organization now offers patients a full range of treatment options within a single network of coordinated care, including the most advanced forms of diagnostic radiology, surgical oncology, oncology/hematology, as well as leading-edge radiation therapy.
Combined, CARTI and LRHO have treated approximately 220,000 cancer patients to date at one of its multiple locations. CARTI remains on the cutting edge of cancer treatment by maintaining state-of-the-art equipment and nationally renowned physicians and staff. With seven facilities in Arkansas, CARTI offers the newest radiation technology, making it available in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Heber Springs, Benton, Clinton, Conway, Searcy, El Dorado, Mountain Home and Morrilton.

The Clubs have a proud, tradition of developing boys and girls into well-rounded adults and productive, responsible citizens. Over the years the Clubs have adapted to meet the changing needs of youth in a changing and increasingly hazardous society. The Boys & Girls Club has developed solutions and alternatives to many of the pressures and problems today's kids' face. They intervene with positive life-shaping programs, producing the direction so many need. The Boys and Girls Clubs provide a positive alternative to neighborhood gangs and destructive personal behavior. The Positive Place for Kids!
HealthSCOPE Benefits sponsors Colerain Elementary School Supply Drive
HealthSCOPE Benefits’ employees in the Columbus, Ohio office participate in the annual back to school drive held in August. They collected over 700 individual school supply items. The HealthSCOPE Benefits staff helped to fill overflowing boxes full of school supplies. These supplies will help benefit the children at Colerain Elementary School as they begin the new school year with all of the tools they need to be successful!

HealthSCOPE Benefits participates in the annual Go Red For Women luncheon located in Little Rock, AR. Go Red For Women encourages awareness of the issue of women and heart disease, and also action to save more lives. The movement harnesses the energy, passion and power women have to band together and collectively wipe out heart disease. It challenges them to know their risk for heart disease and take action to reduce their personal risk. It also gives them the tools they need to lead a heart healthy life.
In 2010, the American Heart Association set a strategic goal of reducing death and disability from cardiovascular disease and strokes by 20% while improving the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20% by the year 2020.

HealthSCOPE Benefits is proud to be a Major Emergency sponsor of the Widow's, Orphans and Disabled Fireman's Fund for the Los Angeles Fireman's Relief Association for the past nine years. Each year HealthSCOPE Benefits contributes its resources and volunteers to the LAFD Golf Invitational, which helps raise money for injured firefighters and their families. Established in 1996, the annual program grants a memorial scholarship of $5000 to the children of fallen fireman and lends financial assistance to students who exemplify academic and personal achievements. HealthSCOPE Benefits continues to be a Major Emergency Sponsor for this annual event.

HealthSCOPE Benefits participates in the Dairy Dash and Volunteer Express Wunder Fun Run benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Middle TN. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee provide character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, arts, sports, fitness and recreation. We most recently sponsored this event Spring 2014.
HealthSCOPE Benefits participates in the YISD Back to School Supply Drive
Volunteers from HealthSCOPE Benefits, students from the ROTC and football team from different YISD high schools begin volunteering on Friday afternoon. Beginning with 1000 backpacks an assembly line was created to begin putting school supplies into each backpack. The school supplies provided included paper, spiral notebooks, pencil boxes, pencils, crayons, and pencil sharpeners. The following morning a rally was held to distribute the supplies.

Summer Food Drive
The employees from our Columbus, Ohio office “took a bite out of hunger” with their summer food drive. There were 300+ food items collected. These were donated to a local food kitchen that helps feed hungry people in Central Ohio. They were grateful for the donations and expressed their sincerest appreciation to all who took time to help others through this common endeavor.
HealthSCOPE Benefits El Paso Office Employees Participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Walk to Benefit America Cancer Society
HealthSCOPE Benefits’ El Paso employees participated in the 5th Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk held at Ascarate Park on October 25th. The funds collected from this walk will benefit the American Cancer Society. Participants were able to see mammogram images on the Move mobile informational center.
