Essential Functions of Job:

• Evaluate Benefit Design for new business groups and plan changes • Coordinate and document plan design with Account Management and Benefit Programmer • New Plan Group Set up in claims system • Manage Benefit Change Forms and completion for Benefit Programming request • Perform initial research for reported potential benefit design issues are reported • Assist Benefit Programming with various plan setup functions • Manage Monthly Stop Loss Shutdown • Some Travel may be required • Work on various projects and initiatives as assigned by Department Director • Ability to report to the office

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent • Effective organizational and prioritization skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including giving presentations • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) • Ability to work in a fast paced multi-tasking environment • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to function as a positive team member • Meticulous attention to detail • Logical, analytical approach to understanding of medical, dental and vision benefits • Experience in programming benefits in claim administration software desired • 5 or more years health claims administration experience preferred
