Essential Functions of Job:

• Working understanding of provider sponsored networks, contracting and credentialing processes • Trouble shooting problems with accounts to include eligibility, claims, and networks • Review and disseminate periodic client reports. Preparation of ad hoc reports, i.e., out of network vendor, claims reports, etc. • Timely and quality response to customer inquiries • Completion of special assignments that contribute to the effectiveness of the organization • Present findings on Plan performance and recommended action plans to clients and providers/networks • Collaborate with clients to develop cost containment/reduction strategies • Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of action plans/strategies through trend analysis • Facilitates quarterly client meetings • Conducts regular employer, employee, network, and provider education meetings • Maintains strong communication plan with clients and key network providers/ network partners • Manage vendor relationships on behalf of customers including PBMs, EAPs, Medical Management, and Data • Continually articulate the HealthSCOPE Benefits value proposition to customers, brokers and consultants • Keep client brokers and consultants abreast of HealthSCOPE Benefits information and client specific information • Lead the implementation of new clients and vendors to ensure day one customer satisfaction • Perform other related duties as required • Ability to report to the office


• Master’s degree with emphasis in business administration, finance, healthcare management or marketing management preferred. Experience considered in lieu of degree. • Effective organizational and prioritization skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including giving presentations • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) • Ability to work in a fast paced multi-tasking environment • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to function as a positive team member • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time • Strong Project Management Skills • Ability to respond to critical situations that may require quick intervention and problem resolution • Experience in health insurance and employee benefits preferred • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, medical providers and the general public • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and develop strategies • Capable of making a proposal and effective demonstrations to potential and existing clients
